My father is a gemstone collector, and today somebody give him a small emerald ring, and decide to give it to me instead. I never wears a ring, but this one is quite cool, i might wear it occasionally. Plus, how often you saw a gemstone-related thing on oppo? None!

But my father has something like this, only about 50% bigger, but he never wears it. He prefer his amethyst instead.

Definitely keep it, it's a really nice ring and really generous of your father! My birthstone is emerald so I have a few smaller ones, but I can't really expect someone to get me them as gifts, lol. But heaven forbid you get in a tough spot, now you'll have at least one more thing to sell before resorting to organs! ;)

Well, he got it from one of his friends, simply because when he bought the ring, it doesn't fit with his fingers so he gave it to my father. And because it wasn't fit in my father's finger as well, he gave it to me.

My father has quite a lot of stones, like emerald, ruby, amethyst, the lot. I guess he give it to me just to makes me interested in this kind of thing :D
